ABB Robotics is making a global impact in education; we have exciting news from Canada! Sheridan's Centre for Intelligent Manufacturing and ProsFit Inc. are using ABB's six-axis industrial robot to develop a #digitaltwin that enhances prosthetic fittings for lower-limb amputees. Nearly half of these prosthetics are abandoned due to discomfort, but this innovation could change that. By simulating human gait and identifying pressure points, this project aims to boost comfort and outcomes, with generative AI enabling even more personalized adjustments. It’s amazing to see the innovative ideas education can generate, especially when paired with ABB's technology to make a positive impact for people with disabilities.
