🤖 We are happy to share that Mechatronica JSC, member of RIC Gabrovo, will participate in the NIGHT OF INDUSTRY event in Gabrovo on 18.10.2024. NIGHT OF INDUSTRY is an initiative of the ASSOCIATION BRIDGE BETWEEN GENERATIONS (https://lnkd.in/drPwpYiW) aimed at promoting manufacturing companies in six regions of Bulgaria by presenting their activities to young people to help them find their professional path. The first pilot edition of the initiative took place in the city of Stara Zagora, where 6 manufacturing companies hosted students, young people, and working-age citizens from 8 pm until late at night, introducing them to production processes. In the NIGHT OF INDUSTRY Gabrovo, the host companies are: Mechatronica SC, Dixi EOOD, Dzali OOD, AMK OOD, Plastform OOD, and MAK AD. 🌟 Exciting Updates from the ALLON_I3 Project! 🌍 On 28th February, participants from Denmark, Greece, Cyprus, Italy, and Portugal met in Gabrovo, Bulgaria for the kick-off face-to-face meeting of the ALLON_I3 Project. Led by Mrs. Nikolinka Hinkova, Chairwoman of the Regional Innovation Centre "Ambitious Gabrovo," our gathering marked the first of four meetings within this transformative two-year initiative. ALLON_I3, or the ALLIANCE ON INTERREGIONAL INNOVATION INVESTMENTS, is a pioneering EU ERDF Interregional Innovation Investments (I3) endeavor. Our mission? To enhance collaboration among six diverse regions, fostering a robust cross-regional innovation ecosystem. Our day was filled with progress reviews, knowledge sharing, and strategic planning for the project's upcoming phases. Meeting in person not only strengthened trust but also solidified our commitment to driving innovation across borders. The ALLON_I3 Project brings together: 🔹 Three less developed regions: Gabrovo, Bulgaria; Enna, Sicily, Italy; Alentejo, Portugal. 🔹 Two regions in transition: Attica, Greece; Nicosia, Cyprus. 🔹 One more developed region: North Denmark. Supported by the Norwegian Business Angel Network, our collaborative effort aims to shape a dynamic innovation ecosystem, fostering stronger value chains and facilitating interregional cooperation and investments. In addition to strategic discussions, participants had the opportunity to engage with local businesses and researchers, gaining valuable insights and exploring collaborative opportunities. Following our meeting, on February 29th, we delved into a Train-of-Trainers Event on Capacity Building. From discussions on angel investing to specialized innovation in cross-industry smart value chains, our sessions were enlightening and inspiring. As we move forward, we're excited to continue driving innovation, fostering collaboration, and delivering tangible results for our regions and beyond.
