With two notable PV parks opened in Bulgaria within a month, it has been a busy time for SUNOTEC. It is always a pleasure talking to the media about our work, hoping to provide better insight into how renewable energy is evolving.   Капитал’s article on Enery’s new 113 MWp plant in Tsenovo, for which SUNOTEC provided turnkey services, offers a well-rounded perspective on the developments of solar energy in Bulgaria. We value the effort put into capturing the essence of this project and the thoughtful coverage of it. The Tsenovo park was also the focus of Bloomberg TV Bulgaria's Clean Energy programme. The Energy Storage Summit in Sofia was a huge success for SUNOTEC! 🚀 The event offered valuable insights into the latest energy storage policies, standards, and technologies. SUNOTEC CEO Bernhard Suchland took the stage as a key speaker, highlighting the company's long-standing partnership with Huawei Digital Power. The completion of the Solaris Park, which features a cutting-edge 61 MWh battery storage facility, is the latest major milestone in our cooperation with Huawei. It is always fulfilling to see the results of our hard work come to fruition with an official launch. 🚀   On the 8th of October, our client Enery and their partners launched their first project in Bulgaria. With 113 MW, the Tsenovo park is their largest in the region. The over 191,000 solar modules will generate an annual output of 177 GWh and save 80,000+ tonnes of CO2. We are proud to have acted as the turnkey service provider.    We are grateful to Enery for the successful cooperation, especially throughout the very intensive construction process. The unusual terrain, the extreme weather conditions with temperatures ranging from -15 to +42 Celsius and the state-of-the art technologies employed, including a tracking system, made Tsenovo an exemplary case for SUNOTEC. 🏆   Tsenovo is unique in another way too. The SUNOTEC construction team on site consisted almost fully of local people from Tsenovo’s nine municipal villages in North-Eastern Bulgaria. The Tsenovo park was also the project of the Women of Tsenovo, with over 30 women working on the construction of this plant. We couldn’t be prouder and more grateful for their excellent work and contribution. This week marked a huge milestone for SUNOTEC. 📣 On Tuesday, the 24th of September, SOLARIS, the joint venture between SUNOTEC and the major shareholders in EUROHOLD Bulgaria AD, celebrated the official opening of its first hybrid PV park in Bulgaria. The 32MWp PV plant features a 61 MWh battery facility from Huawei as part of a strategic partnership. 🤝 This storage system is vital in preventing strain on the national electricity system and allows for smooth distribution of energy according to demand during peak consumption hours. We are proud to have this tremendous project financed by DSK Bank and Varengold Bank AG.
