🚀 Celebrating the Success of the "Take-Off" Summer Youth Program! 🚀 Recently, we concluded the "Take-Off" Summer Youth Program, a key initiative in our commitment to fostering the next generation of leaders in the aviation sector here in Bahrain. Over the past two months, we’ve had the privilege of introducing high school students and fresh graduates to the dynamic world of aviation, equipping them with hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of industry standards and professionalism. Through rotational exposure to various key operations—including Terminal Services, Cargo, Catering, Airside Operations, and the BAETC—participants gained invaluable insights and developed crucial skills. The program's interactive activities, from skills-based competitions to leadership development initiatives, ensured that every moment was an opportunity for growth and learning. This initiative is more than just a summer program; it’s a strategic investment in the future of our community and the aviation industry. We're immensely proud to have provided this platform for young leaders to take flight, and we eagerly anticipate seeing where their journeys will lead. اختتمت باس مؤخراً فعاليات البرنامج التدريبي الصيفي للشباب، والذي يأتي في إطار حرص شركة خدمات مطار البحرين على رعاية وصقل المواهب الشابة وتأهيلها للقيادة في قطاع الطيران. وقد شهد البرنامج، الذي امتد على مدار شهرين، مشاركة واسعة من طلبة المدارس الثانوية وخريجي الجامعات الجدد، حيث تم تعريفهم عن قرب على قطاع الطيران من خلال التدريب العملي واكتساب المعرفة بالمعايير المهنية. وفر البرنامج تجربة تدريبية شاملة تغطي مختلف جوانب قطاع الطيران، بدءًا من العمليات الأرضية وصولًا إلى صيانة الطائرات. من خلال التدريب العملي والنظري المكثف، اكتسب المشاركون العديد المهارات والمعرفة للانطلاق في مسيرة مهنية ناجحة في هذا المجال.  ويعد هذا البرنامج استثمارًا استراتيجيًا في الكوادر الشابة، حيث يساهم في تطوير جيل جديد من الكفاءات الوطنية القادرة على رفع مستوى قطاع الطيران في المملكة مستقبلا. #BahrainAirportServices #Bahrain #Aviation #FutureLeaders #YouthEmpowerment #CommunityEngagement #BAS #خدمات_مطار_البحرين #البحرين #قطاع_الطيران #باس

Tamkeen Supports Wage Increments and Training for Over 1,000 Employees at BAS We are pleased to announce that the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) has strengthened its support to Bahrain Airport Services (BAS), facilitating salary increments for over 1,000 employees—representing approximately 72% of our Bahraini workforce. Additionally, 400 Bahraini employees will benefit from specialized training under the Enterprise Training Support Program, further aligning with BAS's growth and talent development strategies. Mr. Nabeel Khalid Kanoo, Chairman of the Board at BAS, stated: "The ongoing partnership between BAS and Tamkeen is a significant milestone in our company's development. We are grateful for the support provided by Tamkeen, which enhances the development and empowerment of our national workforce. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to BAS’s Board of Directors for their continuous support in investing in human capital, in alignment with our strategies to empower Bahrainis and strengthen their role in the country's economic development. Our commitment to developing local talent contributes to solidifying Bahrain's position as a leading destination in logistics services and supports the realization of Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030." BAS Team Participated in Farnborough Airshow 2024 We are thrilled to announce that members of the BAS team had the incredible opportunity to participate with the ground handling team at the Farnborough Airshow 2024. This experience allowed our team to enhance their skills and gain valuable insights into managing such a prestigious event. Our dedicated team members, including Fawaz Mohamed – FBO Manager, Saeed Al-Ghafri – Senior Manager Line Maintenance Engineering, Basel Hussain – Senior Airside Controller, and A.Rahman Alshamsi – FBO Controller, played pivotal roles in ensuring smooth operations throughout the event.
