Board members and senior executives from GFH Financial Group B.S.C. “GFH” and its subsidiaries have attended and concluded their annual training , organized by the Human Resources Department in GFH, as part of their Continuing Professional Development requirements “CPD” requirement by CBB. The workshop, which was conducted by Dr. Nabil El-Hage, explored the importance of today’s shift from “shareholder‐centric corporations” to the era of the “stakeholder-centric corporations” and what it means in practice for Boards and Senior Management. The workshop was part of an executive-level Four-day programme held in the months of June and October 2024 under the theme of “Global Corporate Governance Challenges — Aspirations and Best Practices” designed for the Group’s board members and senior executives as part of their yearly CPD requirement. Among the topics explored were “Tradeoffs between strict enforcement of rules and nurturing your corporate culture”, “Unintended Discrimination on Social Platform-Based Businesses.”, “Practical Applications of AI in Banking.”, and “Digital Transformation and The Application of Innovative Technology”
