Fir Cone Children is a Berlin-based dreampunk band fusing elements of shoegaze, punk, noise pop and alternative rock to create a wild, life-affirming experience that feels like caffeinated dopamine.

On "Jig of Glee" we experience the eventful and creative world of frontman Alexander Donat's daughters, aged 9 and 11. Through their eyes, we explore the creation of a witches lab in the cellar, a detective agency in the attic, the foundation of a rock band. We witness the overall importance of pets and stuffed animals in their lives. We see them falling in love, running through snow, carrying a christmas tree. A highlight: the girls carry out an bedroom election with a variety of candidates, election posters, flyers, party programs, and a democratic process including a polling booth (spoiler: Elmo wins).

The youthful sound of Fir Cone Children is all about a fast-paced, whooshy music that loves melodies, pop and hooks. It is comprised of naive and happy singing, high-pitched vocal harmonies, distorted and jangling guitars, snarling bass, head-over-heels hyperactive drumming.
