Join us for our next AOB educational session, "Introduction to Sidecars," hosted by Walkers Bermuda on Thursday, August 15th, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM AST! This will be a virtual session which will cover how sidecars are set up from a legal standpoint, the types of vehicles that are used and an overview of the key transaction terms of a typical reinsurance agreement used within a P&C context. The end of the session will touch briefly on what vehicle might be optimal for sponsors ceding P&C risk versus those ceding Life & Annuities business. We can't wait to see you there! Our first student educational event was a huge success with an incredible turnout! Thursday at the Athene Life Expo Career Fair was a great day of networking with students and career changers exploring the actuarial career path. A huge thank you to Athene for organizing this event, which provided invaluable exposure to various careers and companies on the island.
