Catalina donated to the Women’s Pan Am Challenge tournament for Field Hockey. It’s not just a tournament but a celebration of athleticism, teamwork, and the spirit of competition. We were also able to showcase our brand to a global audience. Supporting the women’s Bermuda hockey team aligns us with the values of equality and excellence and allowed us to gain recognition among a diverse audience of sports enthusiasts throughout the Pan Am region and media outlets. Funds donated supported a portion of the team's expenses. Catalina donated to the charity Dignity Foundation which is the charity branch that supports the daily operations of Dignity House, a private mental health rehabilitation center that’s purpose is to help restore, improve and empower individuals age 18+ who are facing the harsh realities associated with mental illness and substance misuse. The reason they exist: “Everyone, no matter what race, gender identity, age, religion, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status or ability, deserves to live a life worth living and to experience positive mental health”. There is an increase in the need for mental health support on island that is accessible to all. Funds donated will help with the services they offer which are clinical, social, therapeutic, and educational. For more information, please visit https://lnkd.in/e_9PEddR. Catalina Bermuda’s ESG Committee also donated $1,250 to the Scouts Association of Bermuda. Catalina employee, Marcia Malpas’ sons had the opportunity to attend the 24th World Scout Jamboree in 2019. From fundraising and donations to the Scouts, they and a small contingent from Bermuda were able to attend. She said it was an amazing experience for all who attended especially coming from a small island of 63k where they’d be with 40k Scouts and leaders from 152 nations. They had amazing adventures, many of which they’d never be able to do in Bermuda, attended programs in leadership and cultural understanding and made lifelong friendships. Examples of some of the amazing experiences our Scouts are invited to attend can be found in the comment section should you be interested. These events are held every 4 years with the next one being held in 2027 in Gdansk, Poland. The future of Scouting in Bermuda is to continue to offer the opportunities to young people to expose themselves to real life challenges and experiences and grow as individuals. Catalina Bermuda’s ESG Committee donated $1,250 to The Pembroke Hamilton Club Foundation. This donation hits a little closer to home because our very own Shaquille Trott is a former recipient of the scholarship and a member of the community club. This scholarship helped him, and many other young Bermudians pursue higher education overseas. PHC, a cornerstone of the community, is more than just a sports hub as they offer a range of youth programs in various sports and extracurricular activities, all aimed at shaping well-rounded individuals. The primary goal of the PHC Foundation is to provide educational support to PHC members through scholarship programs and offer financial assistance to the athletic programs of The Club and to the schools in the community. The Foundation aims to support the development of student-athletes and assist the educational goals of youth involved in PHC programs. The scholarships will provide successful applicants with opportunities for financial aid to further their education at Bermuda College or overseas. To finish off Earth Week, a group of Bermuda employees spent a few hours on Friday, April 26th cleaning up an area of the island. This was part of the KBB ‘Great Big Bermuda Clean-Up’, an annual island-wide event that is considered Bermuda’s largest ‘Spring Clean’. Thanks to all who took the time to participate in this worthy event! Keep Bermuda Beautiful #Earthweek

The year of Dragon symbolizes strength, confidence, exceptional intelligence and standards of excellence. As we ushered in the lunar new year, we were thrilled to have our Group CEO Philipp Waldstein to celebrate together with the #CatalinaRe Singapore team. The celebration started with our Asia CEO Tek Jun Tan and Group CEO Philipp Waldstein giving their well wishes to everyone and for the Company. The excitement to reconnect with colleagues over the lo-hei tossing was hard to contain. Everyone was treated to a sumptuous festive lunch and bonded through a trivia & facts quiz, enabling everyone to further appreciate and learn about the festive traditions. With our yearly traditions, everyone received their lucky ang pows from Tek Jun Tan symbolizing his wishes for greater synergy and an exceptional successful year ahead of us. The event was brought to a climax with dragon and lions dancing their way in, blessing around the office vibrantly to bring good luck and prosperity. May #CatalinaRe thrive and triumph with abundance of excellent results in 2024! #CatalinaRe #Singapore #LNY2024 #MegaHuats
