#TeamAAM from our Chakan Manufacturing Facility (CKMF) in India recently demonstrated AAM’s commitment to operating safely by taking home first place in safety at the Annual Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India Best Practices Competition. Featuring participation from 65 automotive companies presenting 92 projects, CKMF’s "Safety First" team impressed judges with their project on eliminating finger pinch hazards on the Mazak Integrex machine. The team’s presentation skills and in-depth project knowledge earned them the top honor in the competition.

To underscore AAM’s commitment to supporting the communities where we work and live, our Guanajuato Manufacturing Complex – Plant 6 (GMC-6) in Mexico recently sponsored a local children’s shelter during the holiday season. #TeamAAM came together to donate 23 boxes of blankets, pajamas, shoes and other gifts, as well as provide breakfast for the children and their caregivers.

#TeamAAM presented and exhibited at the CTI Symposium in Berlin, Germany, to showcase how we’re #BringingTheFutureFaster. Attendees learned about products in our electrification portfolio including the T4500 e-Beam, AMG ePlus, Baojun eDU and TracRite® eLS and TracRite® DC differential technologies. Visitors also engaged with our new mobile interactive vehicle configurator slider wall and product display table as well as heard from AAM Executive Director of Engineering, Martin Burgbacher, during an industry presentation.
