Last Friday, Architecture Hunter's partner Matheus Gait, joined the inaugural D2 Brasil 2024 at Curitiba’s iconic Oscar Niemeyer Museum, marking the first time Europe’s largest ArchViz conference was held in Brazil. In his talk, "Architecture Hunter: How We Transformed an Instagram into a Media Vehicle", Matheus shared our journey from a social media profile to a full-scale media platform, highlighting the growth of our platform over the last years. Last week, our Editor-in-Chief and CEO, Amanda Ferber, had the honor of moderating an engaging conversation in London between two visionary architects, Dorte Mandrup and Tosin Oshinowo. Huge congratulations to Andrea Zürcher for leading such a wonderful initiative! Special thanks to Boris Noir, ArchDaily, and David Basulto for their exceptional direction and production of the documentary. Last Friday, our founder and CEO, Amanda Ferber, had the privilege of visiting the Foster + Partners office in London and was fortunate enough to meet Norman Foster himself. It was fascinating to learn about the studio’s dynamics, particularly how the campus-like setup accommodates nearly 2,000 collaborators across multiple buildings, each serving distinct functions. We were especially impressed by the acoustics of the main building, where open meeting rooms don’t disturb other collaborators at all. Discovering their materiality research area—much more than a typical materials library—spoke volumes about the studio's philosophy and commitment to Architecture. Another noteworthy feature was their setup for chair prototypes, which included adjustable acrylic wall structures for 1:1 scale comfort testing—a creative approach to furniture design studies. We are grateful to Katy Harris, Senior Partner and Head of Communications, for her warm welcome, the tour, and her kindness. #architecture #design #normanfoster
