Since our founding in 2012, we have aimed to connect rising markets through payments, to empower Latin Americans and Africans to access international products and services, and to enable global companies to expand to these regions. In 11 years of history, we have already helped over 1000 merchants such as Airbnb, Spotify, Aliexpress, Shopee, Sony, and Uber to expand their businesses worldwide by offering over 100 payment methods in our portfolio to integrate.     This week, EBANX Co-founder Wagner Ruiz took the stage at the Endeavor Japan Summit, joining Ryosuke Ushida, CFO at Financial Services Agency of Japan, Jun Hasegawa, Founder and Chairman at Opn, and Manny Ayala, from Endeavor Philippines, to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the cross-border payments market across rising markets. The key takeaway is that fostering a global, collaborative, and diverse payments ecosystem is essential to solving the complexities of these transactions.     A few days ago, we kicked off the EBANX Payments Summit 2024 in Barcelona — the first of four editions of our flagship event focused on payments and the digital economy. The second edition was just hosted this week in Napa Valley, and the next ones will be in Bangkok and São Paulo.  Four editions, four countries. In 2024, the Payments Summit highlights EBANX's global vision and outreach, fostering insightful discussions with global companies through exclusive data intelligence, and real-world case studies. In Barcelona, we took the stage alongside key players from the global payment and digital industries, such as Stripe, Santander, Canva, World Data Lab, Peach Payments, and Paystack.     Brazil's instant payment system Pix is a worldwide phenomenon, and we all know it. Now, it is set to surpass credit cards as the most widely used payment method in Brazilian digital commerce by 2025. According to exclusive data from EBANX by PCMI, Pix will account for 44% of all value transacted in online purchases in the next year. The growth of Pix on digital, which already accounts for 14% of all instant transactions worldwide, has been driven mainly by retail and travel, the two largest digital verticals in Brazil. As Sebastian Fantini, Product Director at EBANX, explains, Pix has been serving as a gateway to digital commerce: EBANX internal data shows that 95% of people who made their first purchase at one of its partner's online stores paid with Pix. "It's positively impacting not only the financial and digital inclusion of Brazilians but also the businesses of merchants who offer this payment method to their customers," emphasizes Fantini. #payments #pix #brazil #digitalcommerce #brazil
