In a joint visit, Hitachi Rail and Linxon board members Daniel Assandri, adrian griffin accompanied by Linxon CEO, Stefan Reisacher, and AMEA Managing Director, Hassan Merhi, conducted a site visit to Manila’s North South Commuter #Railway project in the #Philippines. This visit highlights the importance of the project and Linxon’s unwavering commitment to its success.   Linxon has been contracted to provide complete power supply solution – including the overhead catenary system and power SCADA for the project undertaken by Hitachi Rail with the Department of Transportation - Philippines (DOTr). Running 35.4 km from Solis to Malolos and including nine stations, the project represents one of the main EPCs projects in Linxon’s transportation segment portfolio and is expected to alleviate traffic in and around Manila, benefitting 200,000 daily commuters. The Linxon Board of Directors recently conducted a site visit to the substation located on Bengeworth Road as part of the London Power Tunnels 2 (LPT2) project. The project team has been honored with National Grid's Electricity Transmission Award for the successful and safe commissioning of the initial circuit. The forthcoming phase of this innovative infrastructure initiative will involve the installation of the UK's first SF6-free GIS equipment, specifically the EconiQ™ gas-insulated switchgear from Hitachi Energy. "It is encouraging to witness the advancements at the site and to recognize Linxon's role in a significant power infrastructure project that will provide a reliable and clean electricity supply for the capital city of England," stated Stefan Reisacher, CEO of Linxon. #Linxon #EPC #cleanenergy #LondonPowerTunnel

With a symbolic groundbreaking ceremony, the transmission system operator TransnetBW GmbH has marked the beginning of the substation works in Beuren. The Beuren substation represents an important step towards sustainable and future-proof transmission lines.   Linxon is providing the full EPC scope for this project. Alongside the existing 220-kilovolt (kV) switchyard, a new 380 kV open-air insulated switchyard including a control building will be erected.
