Fast forward to the next EU Parliament elections in 2029, what will we be able to say about this political period in Europe? That we did enough to pause and reverse the harms we have inflicted on our natural surroundings? Or that we were too slow and unwilling to act? What know that the challenges that surround us – as purpose-led business leaders, as politicians, as citizens – are becoming ever more complex. The price we pay for not acting continues to increase, and front-line communities and nature bear outsized costs for our inaction.
