We are excited to share a new series of murals located on the Macdonnell Street side of the building created by local artist Rhiannon White @paperandpistil 🌻The mural begins at ground level, featuring strong community roots and the foundational seeds of growth nurtured by support, respect, and dignity. As the image moves to the upper floors, a sturdy stem emerges, culminating in the vibrant bloom of a sunflower which symbolizes resilience in adversity and embody hope. The mural extends upward, depicting a calm, hopeful sky on the top floor. 💕Change begins with respect: by honouring those closest to us and extending this respect outward to our communities, we strive towards universal respect for all humanity, fostering collective growth. Next time you are walking down Macdonnell Street downtown, we highly recommend you look up and admire this beautiful work of art.

James is showcasing a collection of paintings and site-responsive installations curated by Shalaka Jadhav on 10C's First Floor and Fourth Floor galleries. Roshan James is a Tibetan-Indian multidisciplinary artist, poet, and musician born in Scarborough, Ontario, living as a settler in the rural area north of Waterloo, Ontario. As part of the South Asian diaspora, Roshan’s research and experiments result in work that connects with themes of decolonization, identity, and healing. Meet 10C Changemaker: Christina Cameletti! Before embarking on her journey through law school at the age of 25, Christina spent a summer volunteering as a Host Desk volunteer 10C Shared Space. It was during this time she witnessed firsthand the immense value 10C brought to its members, including small businesses, artists, and community organizations. This experience left a lasting impression, sparking Christina's desire to join 10C one day if she ever started her own business. Fast forward to the present, she joined her father's law firm and established her law practice in Guelph. Christina is a changemaker because she works around "Access to Justice" (A2J). She envisions a world where everyone in Guelph fully understands their legal rights and responsibilities.
