To wrap up our team features for WEM, we’d like to re-introduce the CEO of The Nicholson Org., Bianca Aziz. A dedicated mother of two with a deep passion for basketball, Bianca Aziz oversees the execution of Andrew’s business vision across Canada, North America, and beyond. Bianca began her professional career in 1996 and has developed strong leadership and relationship management skills. In her latest senior role within the Corporate structure, she consistently delivers while fostering vital connections and ensuring innovative solutions aligned with business objectives. Bianca's success extends beyond business acumen. Her profound involvement in the basketball community is evident through her commitment to the game in and out of the arena. She’s an avid fan of the sport and looks to work with others who share her mission of giving back to our community through sport. As a respected leader, she leverages her experience to create impactful change personally and professionally. She wants to empower youth and contribute to their development on and off the court. To continue WEM, we’d like to introduce Donnicia Ellis-Dawson, our Executive Director for MVMNT. Donnicia is a Brock University graduate, majoring in Business Communications with a minor in Tourism. With a background as an HR Assistant in the Cabinet Office, she has championed programs focusing on Diversity Inclusion and Anti-Racism. Her experience includes event planning with CBC and Game Day Coordination with MLSE, providing support on game nights for the Toronto Raptors, Raptors 905, Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto FC, and Toronto Argonauts. Donnicia's expertise in both the media and sports industries makes her a valuable asset in delivering exceptional experiences for youth. Serving as the Executive Director of MVMNT powered by 44Hoops, Donnicia is dedicated to empowering the younger generation within the community through various programs, aiming and encouraging them to think beyond boundaries and strive for excellence. www.44hoops.org

For WEM, we'd like to introduce fellow board member, Kyra Nankivell. As a former student-athlete, Kyra understands the benefits of academic and athletic excellence, a core value at 44 Hoops. She believes that developing well-rounded youth leads to greater community impact over the long term and knows that 44 Hoops shares this belief. On behalf of 44Hoops and MVMNT, Powered by 44Hoops; we are hosting a free March Break Camp (March 11-March 15) called “Books and Buckets” for the youth ages 11 and above (Grade 6+) in the Markham community. The free camp will focus on basketball and coding and will be hosted at The Rec 44. To sign up your youth for the camp, please send their name, age, and grade to info@44hoops.org.
