#Throwback to 2018, when we replaced this cooling pond system for a powerhouse in Golden, BC. Although this was no casual project out in sun, this is still one of 'cooler' projects we like to look back on. Here are some of the key points that made this process so interesting: 💧WATER HEIGHT ADJUSTMENTS 💧 In order to keep workers at the correct working height, the pond water would need to fluctuate to different levels. 🏗️ WORK ABOVE WATER 🏗️ Heavy iron work like the demolition of old mass timber supports, and the new structural steel grid installation was all done above water. ⛔ SHUTDOWN⛔ Installation of the new evaporative cooling system required a 15-day shutdown to the 6 MW power plant (boiler and steam turbine). #EnergySystems #ForestryIndustry #SteelFabrication

Consideration for the end user is key when developing pipe routing. 🔑 A crucial aspect in many of our projects, pipe routing can directly effect the efficiency, safety, accessibility, and even longevity of equipment. When done without the end user in mind, operating and maintaining equipment can cause major headaches, unsafe situations, and a costly re-route. With more than 30 years experience, we get it right the first time: systematic.bc.ca/contact #PipeRouting #HeavyConstruction #MillInstallations

Celebrating this past project with Neptune Bulk Terminals!🚢 During that time, we spearheaded three pivotal contracts that have brought significant upgrades to the shipping terminal: 🔹 C-002: Upgrade to Conveyor 107 (Coal Terminal Capacity Upgrade) 🔹 C-010 Main Works Install (Coal Terminal Capacity Upgrade) 🔹 C-011 Berm Rehabilitation Rail beam and Slab Installation As prime contractor, our team was responsible for ensuring safety across the board, organizing subcontractor schedules, and navigating a crucial 28-day shutdown. We are proud to have contributed to Neptune's growth and efficiency! Can not believe it was more then a decade ago! 💪 #ShippingIndustry #Vancouver #CanadianIndustry

Just passing through! 🐏 Remote sites often house delicate ecosystems. It's our responsibility to ensure thoughtful conservation and planning, leaving these environments untouched during and after construction. Plus, spotting amazing animals like these is a major bonus. Have you ever had a wildlife encounter on site? #LandConservation #SustainableConstruction

When installing the Con-vey Panel Patch Line at Richmond Plywood, we were faced with the challenge of limited space. However, thanks to our crew members thinking quick on their feet, we managed to work with tight space, completing the curing tower and stacker assembly with three telehandlers. We are grateful to share a wide breadth of experience so that, when faced with unavoidable challenges, we are able to come up with creative solutions and get the job done. 💡 #richmondbc #plywood #forestry
