Alberta Farm Writers' Association

Founded in 1955, the AFWA is a provincial offshoot of the Canadian Farm Writers’ Federation. Our mandate is to “promote excellence in agricultural journalism and to enhance the status of agricultural journalism with the general public.” The AFWA serves a diverse group of professionals who are committed to professional communications in Alberta agriculture: -Reporters, editors and broadcasters -Business, government and academia We strive to keep our members informed, connected and excited about agricultural communications.
