Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of marine machinery for a government vessel is in progress. FAT is a critical step in the technical procurement process. By testing the equipment or components before the customer receives them, Albion Marine ensures that new installations will perform as expected. The fourth edition of Effective Mooring is aligned with the guidance in OCIMF’s Mooring Equipment Guidelines, Fourth Edition (MEG4), which contains more detailed technical information on the design and maintenance of mooring systems.
