Reserve your seat now! Monday, August 26: Lunch & Learn with Duncan Fulton The Alma City Club is pleased to welcome Duncan Fulton for a Lunch & Learn presentation on Monday, August 26. Duncan has been Chief Corporate Officer at Restaurant Brands International (RBI) since 2018. RBI is one of the world’s largest restaurant companies with 31,000 locations in 100 countries under the brands of Burger King, Tim Hortons, Popeyes and Firehouse Subs. Details: • Date: Monday, August 26 • Meet and greet: 11:45 a.m. • Lunch: 12 p.m. • Members: $29.50 + HST and gratuity • Non-members: $39.50 + HST and gratuity Duncan's role includes leadership for the company’s North American franchising approach, communications, government relations, investor relations, issues management, sustainability and employee engagement. In addition to being on RBI's leadership team, he is also a member of the Tim Hortons and Burger King North America leadership teams and is a board member of Popeyes' Supply Chain Management Services. Duncan currently serves as the Chairman of Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, one of the best-known charities in Canada that raises $31 million to help approximately 10,000 youth every year develop into confident, successful adults and role models through the charity's seven established camp locations and specialized program curriculum. Duncan has championed an exciting new initiative starting in September 2024, where the Foundation will bring its curriculum to help thousands of additional youth in need through schools that serve under-privileged communities. He spent nine years working for Canadian political leaders in provincial and federal governments, including as communications advisor and spokesman for Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien. Duncan also served in the offices of the Minister of the Canadian International Development Agency, the Leader of the Opposition in Ontario and for Premier Frank McKenna in New Brunswick. He has been widely recognized for his executive leadership, including being named Canada’s Marketer of the Year in 2016 by the Canadian Marketing Association and one of Canada’s 50 Best Executives in 2020 by the Globe and Mail.
