It's always a tricky question when clients ask us "𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙬𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙤𝙧 𝙧𝙚𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙖 𝙩𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙞𝙩?" That depends on what is needed to upgrade or repair a structure or foundation prior to raising the tower. Through our in-depth inspection and engineering process, we determine what is required to make projects viable. In this case at BPA, significant tower leg upgrades and repairs were needed in order to create a structurally sound tower that could handle the AMPJACK® tower raise.  All of these repairs were done on this 500kV Tower while keeping the lines above it energized, and were done in a safe and expeditious manner, so we could move on to raising the tower energized to gain the proper conductor clearances.⚡ Thanks to our partners on this project, including POWER Engineers, Henkels & McCoy, Inc., and Commonwealth Associates, Inc. #TowerRaise #TowerRepair #AMPJACK #AMPJACKthat #Utilities #Energy #UpgradeYourGrid
