Hello fellow teachers! Have you ever faced a situation when your student seems to have a financial problem and you allow them some time to manage their finance and pay you the fees? Do you feel it's disrespectful when your students (even stopped studying) don't pay you and now since they have a job and they can accord to pay refrain from paying. Recently one of my students who is based out of Delhi and is working for a very renowned company in gurgaon took more than 2 years to clear his dues which is less than $100(INR 5000) makes me feel that I don't deserve to ask him with a follow up as I am based out of Canada now. I wonder how kind and considerate you can be when they need you , however, they think it's ok to ignore the fees payments on time. As a french trainer for years, I feel it's very annoying and disrespectful to ask for your own money. Now you might feel it's just $100 but then please think from a perspective that you help someone and they forget who you are after a period. It's like standing in someone's difficult time as a french trainer and they do not bother to pay. What's your thoughts as present/ ex teachers of any domain to secure payments in a situation when also acknowledge humanity in difficult times
