🌟New Publication Alert!🌟 To evaluate the efficacy of the solid #tumour new #immunotherapy methods, #patient-mimicked #invitro models are essential for accurately predicting immune cell interactions with the #tumorMicroenvironment. By replicating the diverse components of the tumour microenvironment, we can more effectively translate in-vitro findings to #clinical applications. This advancement not only enhances the #precision of #preclinical #therapeutic experiments but also supports the goal of #Reduction and #Replacement of the use of animals in these studies. 🔬In a recent study published in the #AdvancedFunctionalMaterials journal, researchers used Apricell Biotechnology Inc.'s 3-in-1 Plate and TruSphere Plate to create 3D #tumoroid models of #metastatic #breastcancer. They used these tumoroid models to study the #toxicity and infiltration of the T cells within the tumour and evaluate the effects of localized #hydrogel-based chemo treatments on enhancing T cell activity and #migration to the tumour site. 🚀New Publication Alert! Developing a method for stimulating collagen production in skin and hair follicle cells is crucial during cell therapy. Creating in vitro and ex-vivo 3D tissue models that can accurately measure the amount of collagen produced after expanding fibroblast and dermal sheath cells could be a viable alternative to animal models. Through this approach, the ultimate aim is to reduce, refine, and replace the use of animal models in the preclinical therapeutic screening process. 🌱 Researchers at the University of Victoria recently published a study using Apricell Biotechnology Inc. 3D tissue culture plates, also known as 3-in-1 Plates. These plates were used to create human-derived organoids from hydrogel-based microcarrier-expanded dermal fibroblast cells and perform functional collagen production assessments under different conditions. Our 3D tissue culture plate technology revolutionizes preclinical assessments in cell therapy and pharmaceutical fields. It creates various organoid/spheroid-based tissue models to ensure the quality of newly manufactured cells and assess the efficacy of new therapeutics for different diseases. 🧬 Find the link to the paper below: https://lnkd.in/e4tBBxhi Interested in learning more about our cutting-edge technology?
