Join us today for the fourth annual National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (NDTR). APTN, CBC/Radio-Canada and the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation come together to host “Remembering the Children” —a 90-minute commemorative gathering at Parliament Hill, on the unceded, unsurrendered territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation at 3:00pm (ET). Attend in person or tune in to APTN & APTN Languages for the live broadcast in English and Plains Cree at 3:00pm (ET)/12:00pm (PT), with a French broadcast airing later at 6:00pm (ET)/3:00pm (PT) on APTN. Additionally, APTN National News will provide live streaming of the event in English, French, and Plains Cree. Supported by Patrimoine canadien -- Canadian Heritage, Remembering the Children: National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is dedicated to honouring residential school Survivors, paying tribute to the children who were lost, and creating a space for reconciliation and healing.
