Bridge C-14 Presents: Meaning-Centred Group Therapy for People Pursuing MAiD In our work facilitating peer support groups, we’ve seen firsthand how individuals pursuing Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) often grapple with finding meaning and purpose as they face their mortality. This program offers a unique path to peace through structured conversations and experiential activities designed to enhance emotional and spiritual well-being. What Can Participants Expect? Meaning-Centred Group Therapy helps participants improve their sense of meaning, reduce distress, and foster emotional resilience as they prepare for end-of-life. Throughout the program, participants will engage in reflective exercises and meaningful discussions to explore personal values, build a legacy, and find ways to connect deeply with loved ones. At the end of the program, participants will leave with: - A personalized plan that identifies their sources of meaning. - Strategies for coping with existential challenges. - Practical goals for making the most of their time. Who Should Join? - Individuals eligible for MAiD under Track 1 or Track 2. - Those who wish to create a lasting legacy, foster hope, strengthen connections, and develop coping strategies for the emotional and spiritual challenges they face. - Participants must be able to attend 9 bi-weekly sessions of 2 hours each, held online.
