About us

The Environmental Health Association of Quebec (ASEQ-EHAQ) is a charitable group founded in 2004, with a membership of over 1800 people, that addresses the connection between health and the environment. The mission of ASEQ-EHAQ encompasses not only the help and support for people who suffer from environmental sensitivities, but also actively promotes the use of ecological strategies for everyday living as a means of prevention of environmental sensitivities. We believe that least toxic and natural approaches for daily life will not only help clean up our planet, but it will also improve human health. Environmental sensitivities are caused by exposures to chemicals and other incitants in our environment. The sensitisation leads to disability. In Canada, over one million persons have been medically diagnosed with this disability (Statistics Canada, 2016). Visit our websites to learn more about our work.
