    🚀 We were thrilled to be part of last week’s Premiere Ligne en Sante event, where our Head of Operations, Samira Khajehi, showcased how AssistIQ is unlocking access to data and insights for the healthcare network in Canada and the US. Her presentation during the "Technological Innovations in Healthcare - Optimizing Operations" session highlighted the impact of computer vision and machine learning as the trusted eyes for supply and implant usage in high cost procedure rooms.     It was great to connect with the #SAGES community where this year’s annual meeting theme was #Sustainability. Our CEO Lisa Israelovitch moderated a session with Dr. Nova Szoka featuring new sustainability innovations in the OR and sharing AssistIQ's progress since winning last year’s Shark Tank. A special shout out to a few of the innovators: Dr. Maija Cheung, Assistant Professor of Surgery at Yale and the Chief Medical Officer for Kids Operating Room and Global Hospital for Solar Surgery System, "Runner Up" in the 2024 SAGES Shark Tank Finals for bringing solar power to children's operating rooms to save lives in developing countries. Dr. Tom Sorrentino of Clinical Development at Diatiro, this year’s Shark Tank winner, that is building a solution to improving patient outcomes, increasing utilizable organs, and extending transplant longevity. Sharon Connor (nee Sharkey), Global Director Sustainability, ETHICON, Johnson & Johnson MedTech. Sharon and her team are leading the way integrating sustainable design solutions into product innovation processes including a program to recycle disposable medical instruments designed for single use. #healthtech #sustainability #innovation
