In line with its commitment to a safer and more regulated cannabis industry, the Ontario Government has announced plans to empower law enforcement to curb the advertising and promotion of illicit online cannabis sales. This follows a $31 million funding pledge in the spring budget to support these efforts. “Aurora is encouraged to see the Ontario Government’s commitment to help law enforcement crack down on the advertising and promotion of illicit online cannabis sales. This is a critical step in our collective effort towards eradicating the illicit market and protecting public health." - Rick Savone, Sr. Vice President, Aurora Cannabis.
