Each year, 1.6 billion tree seedlings in North America depend on peat moss, which emits significant GHGs and is less effective in drought-prone and wildfire-damaged areas. That's why CICE is proud to support Innovatree Carbon Group's innovative use of a proprietary biochar mixture. This solution not only boosts seedling survival but also enhances carbon sequestration in the southern interior of B.C., contributing to climate change mitigation and sustainable reforestation.
