🚀 At Beringer, we're committed to backing industry leaders who embody a spirit of innovation. In a demonstration of nonprofit industry leadership, VeraData The Donor Science Company, one of the dynamic businesses within our investment portfolio, recently showcased its forward-thinking approach with the release of, “The Nonprofit’s Guide to Donor Science,” a roadmap navigating Ai.     Is your nonprofit ready to thrive in the age of Ai and Machine Learning? It’s time to revolutionize your approach to donor data to secure your future. Dive deeper into their guide here: https://bit.ly/3Si8zqN     5 Key Factors for Consideration to Prepare Your Nonprofit for the Ai Revolution: > Data Quality: Over time, donor data tends to become outdated and unstandardized, leaving many valuable insights undiscovered.   > Non-responders: While responders are everyone’s focus in fundraising campaigns, unresponsive audience details are just as essential and hold crucial insights that are frequently overlooked.   > Beyond People Data: The significance of capturing intricate package details cannot be understated. Fonts, colors, size, etc., are important details to keep track of for stronger future direct mail campaigns. The Donor Science approach uses Ai and Machine Learning to analyze more than just responses; it delves into what people are reacting to. With the Donor Science approach, Ai and Machine Learning evaluate more than just the response/non-response information; it dives into what people are responding to inform thousands of campaign decisions.   > Consistent Coding: Standardized coding of every campaign component is the gateway to clearer insights.   > Hidden Gold: With the right approach, what may appear to be seemingly irrelevant data can reveal impactful donor insights.     Your Next Steps:   1. Evaluate your data silos and their integrations.   2. Review your coding practices.   3. Assess the depth and breadth of your historical data retention.   4. Remember, your nonprofit doesn’t need an elaborate tech stack to make impactful use of your data. What it needs is to focus on and the willingness to let data-driven insights lead the way.     💡 Now is the time to pave the way for donor data intelligence that transforms your strategy and truly maximizes your data's full potential. Change is not just an option; it's a necessity.    #Nonprofits #Fundraising #DataScience #MachineLearning #DonorScience #Philanthropy

At the end of 2022, Beringer invested in Dig Insights, a market research company that helps some of the world’s leading brands understand what drives consumer decisions and help them become more “decision-centric”.    They do this in a few ways; they’ve developed a suite of technology, AI, and analytics solutions (in particular their SaaS platform Upsiide) that are grounded in making research smarter and more predictable. Moreover, they pair these sophisticated tech and analytics solutions with even smarter researchers, strategists, and client service managers to help clients drive their business forward.    Beringer has been critical in helping Dig Insights accelerate their growth, bringing in experts in sales, marketing, and operations to help inform their long-term strategy.     Paul Gaudette, CEO and Co-Founder of Dig Insights says, “The Beringer team brings a level of strategic thinking, experience, and expertise in the technology, information, and marketing sectors which has allowed us to build best practices into our business. Ultimately, Beringer has been instrumental in helping us unlock new channels for company growth, and we are fortunate to have them as partners.”    Today, Dig Insights is on an impressive growth trajectory. If you’re curious to learn more, visit their website to explore their latest innovations. Keep your eyes peeled for the game-changing AI feature they’ll be releasing in just a few weeks. 👀

Beringer takes pride in investing in companies that are at the forefront of their industries and possess an innovative mindset. Recently, our portfolio company, Perform[cb], hosted a webinar on exploring the applications of AI. A hot topic, we wanted to share some about AI and its ecosystem. Think of AI as the brainpower behind technology, ranging from simple rule-based systems to complex neural networks. Machine Learning (ML), a subset of AI, is like an advanced assistant that learns from data to make predictions and decisions, and over time, it can anticipate your next move based on observed patterns. Deep Learning, another subset of AI, employs neural networks to create new things from scratch. This technology powers Generative AI, like OpenAI's GPT-4, which can write articles, create images, and generate videos. These technologies are revolutionizing problem-solving, unlocking new possibilities, and enabling us to process vast amounts of data like never before. Follow us here to learn more about how our portfolio companies are harnessing AI to drive innovation and growth. #PrivateEquity #AI #Innovation

Facilitating collaboration between our portfolio companies enables us to operate more efficiently and create significant value. A prime example of this is the partnership between Inman and Dig Insights on a consumer survey. Dig Insights is a Toronto-based leading market research and strategy consultancy that provides innovative consumer insights and strategic guidance to help businesses make informed decisions. Inman is a leading real estate news platform offering insights, trends, and analysis for real estate professionals, including brokers, agents, and investors, to help them stay informed and make strategic decisions. Together, they conduct a quarterly consumer survey that offers valuable housing-related insights to Inman subscribers, especially brokerage leaders, investors, and other decision-makers.    The survey targets 3,000 working U.S. adults who represent the broader pool of potential U.S. homebuyers. Inman designs the survey questions and analyzes the results, crafting the final content that is ultimately delivered to Inman subscribers. Meanwhile, Dig Insights collaborates on the technical aspects, offering guidance on best practices and ensuring the survey reaches the desired number of respondents each quarter. These survey results have empowered Inman to deliver insights on topics such as the evolving brokerage business landscape following the National Association of Realtors settlement, consumer interest in various compensation models, and analyses of consumer attitudes based on various factors such as homeowners vs. renter status or purchase likelihood.  #PrivateEquity #PortfolioCompanyCollaboration
