Are you facing challenges with ammonia removal during colder months? Bioaugmentation is commonly attempted to improve ammonia removal in wastewater lagoons, particularly during cold weather, when temperature-sensitive nitrifying bacteria become less effective. But bioaugmentation is often only a temporary solution since lagoons typically can’t sustain a robust population of nitrifying bacteria in cold conditions. BioCord™ Reactors are like a condominium for bacteria that provide a massive surface area and the ideal conditions to establish and maintain a robust, cold-tolerant biofilm. Learn how this simple, low-energy system can cost-effectively offer a better home for nitrifying bacteria and improve year-round ammonia removal. https://lnkd.in/g_TECTd3 #wastewater #bioaugmentation #bacteria #biofilm #ammonia
