As a Call Dispatcher for our client, a leading taxi company in Canada, you will play a crucial role in efficiently coordinating inbound calls for our fleet of taxis. Responsibilities: 1. Receive and handle inbound calls from customers, efficiently understanding their taxi service requirements. 2. Dispatch and coordinate taxi services to meet customer needs promptly. 3. Maintain effective communication with taxi drivers to ensure timely arrivals and departures. 4. Utilize dispatch software and tools to optimize route planning and enhance overall operational efficiency. 5. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. 6. Collaborate with team members to streamline communication and improve overall service delivery. 7. Monitor and track taxi movements using GPS technology to ensure accuracy and reliability. 8. Adhere to established protocols and procedures to maintain a high standard of service quality. 9. Handle any emergencies or disruptions in service with composure and efficiency. 10. Keep detailed records of calls, dispatch activities, and customer interactions. Requirements: 1. Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar call dispatching role. 2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 3. Proficient in using dispatch software and related tools. 4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 5. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach. 6. Familiarity with the geography of Canada, especially in the context of taxi services. 7. Availability to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
