Healing through happiness for kids and families affected by childhood cancer.
About us
CAMPFIRE CIRCLE has offered healing through happiness for thousands of kids and families affected by childhood cancer since 1983. It’s where kids can be kids, and families can be families—engaging in camp-inspired community, in-hospital, and overnight camp programs, at no cost to them. As a privately funded organization, CAMPFIRE CIRCLE makes thousands of life-changing experiences possible for Campers throughout the year, all across Ontario. Camp Ooch & Camp Trillium merged in 2020, and announced a new name in January 2022. We aren’t changing what we do—we’re just changing our name. Visit www.campfirecircle.org for more information or join the online community on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or LinkedIn.

Alice is back from camp and full of stories! 🌟 Her week was filled with swimming, water games, and conquering the rock wall with her sister Aviva. For Alice’s family, camp is more than a vacation – it’s a safe space where they can relax, even as Alice prepares for more treatment. Camp has boosted Alice's confidence, making her excited for school and new friendships. Plus, her parents got to enjoy some much-needed time together (and hot coffee!). Read more about their journey on our blog! Link: https://bit.ly/3YmPZ34

Big thanks to Spencer West for his inspiring session at our #campfirecircle staff retreat in Muskoka. Spencer challenged us to redefine what we think is possible, and to create inclusive spaces and programs where children with cancer or serious illness are empowered to dream and thrive. A special shoutout to Marianne Woods and Talk About Speakers as well.
