Healing through happiness for kids and families affected by childhood cancer.

About us

CAMPFIRE CIRCLE has offered healing through happiness for thousands of kids and families affected by childhood cancer since 1983. It’s where kids can be kids, and families can be families—engaging in camp-inspired community, in-hospital, and overnight camp programs, at no cost to them. As a privately funded organization, CAMPFIRE CIRCLE makes thousands of life-changing experiences possible for Campers throughout the year, all across Ontario. Camp Ooch & Camp Trillium merged in 2020, and announced a new name in January 2022. We aren’t changing what we do—we’re just changing our name. Visit www.campfirecircle.org for more information or join the online community on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or LinkedIn.

This weekend, we kicked off Cocoa for Campfire Circle, inviting friends and families to set up hot cocoa stands in support of our programs for kids with cancer or serious illness! The turnout was incredible – so many families came together to share the warmth of hot cocoa and support, spreading joy to their communities and raising awareness. A huge thank you to everyone who joined in, donated, and shared their cozy cocoa creations with us. You’re helping bring a little more sweetness and comfort to those who need it most. 🍫💙 #CocoaForCampfireCircle

On Monday we held our annual all-staff retreat at our Muskoka site and it was more than just business—it was about about connection and growth! Through team-building experiences, we strengthened relationships, shared ideas, and reignited our passion for creating meaningful experiences for the kids and families we support. 💛

This September, we welcomed campers from the complex care community for a Weekend at Camp in Muskoka. What an incredible time it was! We had so much fun spending the weekend connecting, building friendships, and enjoying activities like decorating pumpkins together. Thank you to everyone who made this weekend so special! A special shoutout to Emily’s House Children’s Hospice and our medical advisors from SickKids Complex Care team and SickKids Paediatric Advanced Care Team (PACT) who helped ensure it was a safe and successful experience for our campers! #CCMuskoka
