We all win when we support the men and women who make up our food, forestry, mining, and energy sectors. Natural resource development makes life more affordable for all Canadians. Let’s stop putting up barriers and start rolling out the red carpet for new job-creating investment.

We will need all energy sources to meet the expanding energy requirements of a growing global population seeking improved health care, education, comfort, nutrition, and life expectancy.

It’s time for us to get behind our job-creating, prosperity-generating natural resources sector to make life more affordable for Canadians. Global demand for energy, forestry, agriculture, and mining products is growing. If we don’t supply these resources to the world, another country will, and Canadians will miss out on massive employment opportunities and economic benefits.

The world needs more Canadian mining, forestry, food, and energy. This is mutually beneficial for our local economy and our global trading partners.

Global demand for oil, natural gas, and all energy sources is growing. Let’s keep the jobs, community benefits, and funding for social programs here in Canada. Makes perfect sense as Canadians.

Canada is a global energy powerhouse that supplies the world with about 6% of its oil and 4% of its natural gas. Home to just 0.5% of the population, Canadians undoubtedly play an oversized role in producing the reliably sourced energy our world needs.
