The recent #IYSSummit brought together over 150 researchers, service providers, policy makers and youth in pursuit of a shared vision on the advancement of integrated youth services (IYS). With IYS, mental health, primary care, social services and more are made available to all youth behind a single door. Hosted in Winnipeg, home to Manitoba’s IYS network, Huddle, this was a first-of-its-kind gathering with representation from Indigenous communities and all provinces and territories. Learn more about IYS-Net: https://lnkd.in/eRnySzTS . One in eight women is expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, making research into prevention, diagnosis, and treatment more critical than ever. During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we come together to support those impacted and reflect on the progress made in the fight against the disease. Over the past 5 years, we have invested nearly $140M through more than 500 grants and awards to advance breast cancer research in Canada. Read the Minister of Health’s recent message to learn how we are advancing breast cancer research in Canada: https://lnkd.in/eANirc_q #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth
