For our first discussion of the day, we were joined by Marie-Lucie Morin, P.C. C.M. – Former Executive Director at the World Bank, Former Deputy Minister for International Trade and Associate Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Canada and Stewart Beck – Former President and CEO, Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, and Advisory Board Member with the Canadian Leadership Congress. Last but not least, we welcome Heechung Sung – Head of Natural Capital at CEFC for our final presentation of the day on Australia’s innovative approach to decarbonization. The Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) in Australia is a government-owned green bank established to help increase investment in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and low-emissions technologies.
