Natalie Vaz is one of the remarkable women who help keep our airline running, and she’s in the spotlight for Women in Aviation Week. As Manager Northern Hamlets – East Airports and Cargo Leadership, Natalie oversees our 11 eastern communities and all aspects of their operations. She relishes her role supporting the frontline employees working to provide the essential services that make life better in their communities. During her time with Canadian North, Natalie says women were always well represented in leadership roles, and strong female mentors have helped her career grow. Kelsey Smith is one of the inspiring women who help keep our airline running, and we’re shining a spotlight on her for Women in Aviation Week. There weren’t many women in management in the aviation industry when Kelsey joined it in 2007. With the support of a senior manager, she built skills and confidence at Canadian North. Now as our Manager Northern Hamlets, Kelsey manages eight locations with 85 employees, who handle everything from checking in a passenger, to loading and unloading cargo and baggage, to de-icing the aircraft. Kelsey advises other women interested in aviation, “Reach for the sky as there is no limit. Bernadette Kirk is one of the incredible women who help keep our airline running, and she’s in the spotlight for Women in Aviation Week.
