The Prosperity Project is a registered charity with a mission to identify and remove the systemic barriers and biases that impede the advancement of all women in the economy, limiting their - and Canada’s - opportunity for increased prosperity. Our 3 signature programs together create positive impact for all women, for gender equity and diversity in the workplace, and for Canadian economic prosperity. The Prosperity Project’s research initiatives identify and measure barriers to gender equity and diversity in Canadian workplaces. The Rosie Initiative directly addresses barriers by providing a platform for mentorship support for all women. We recognize that women and women of intersecting identities are met with unique barriers when it comes to building and growing a career. We apply an intersectional identity lens to our programs and the support and resources we provide.

So, what is The Impact Project? This 3-year initiative, supported by WAGE / FEGC will focus on increasing women’s representation in leadership roles across Corporate Canada, with a focus on underrepresented groups. Through roundtable discussions with community organizations and industry leaders, we’ll address the challenges of hiring bias, pay inequity, and retention in sectors like IT, Telecom, Energy, and Utilities. Together, we’re shaping a future where all women can thrive in leadership roles. - Qu'est-ce que le projet Impact? Cette initiative de trois ans soutenue par Femmes et Égalité des genres Canada, vise à accroître la représentation des femmes dans les rôles de leadership au sein des corporations canadiennes, en mettant l'accent sur les groupes sous-représentés. Our own findings from the Annual Report Card show similar trends, emphasizing the necessity of sustained action across all sectors to support women’s representation in leadership.
