Congratulations to Dr. Andréanne Côté, from Université de Montréal, who was chosen as 2nd runner up in the Canadian Virtual Hospice's 2024 Innovation Challenge at the McGill International Palliative Care Congress. Dr. Côté presented her innovation in French, titled Creation of the play "Si un jour je meurs" (If One Day I Die). The play aims to provide a moving and contemplative theatrical experience. Participants from all walks of life are invited to take part in this co-creation, with each presentation followed by a discussion period with the audience. The play has been reworked in light of feedback received; the most recent version, including sets and costumes, was recorded and the recording is being circulated to attract new audiences. To date, over 20 presentations have been held in various locations around Quebec.
