Program delivery update on the RNIP - "The RNIP ministerial instructions have been amended to extend the period of time communities can issue recommendations until July 31, 2024. Applicants will still be required to submit their complete applications for permanent residence by August 31, 2024, the date when the pilot expires. 📢 Exciting Update from the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program! The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) is reopening multiple streams on June 11, 2024, including the Alberta Opportunity Stream and other key pathways. Applications will be accepted monthly, with specific intake dates: June 11, July 9, August 13, September 10, October 8, November 5, and December 10. Today, we announced that off-campus work hours for international students will return to the 20hour-per-week limit as of May 1, 2024. The temporary policy that waived the 20-hour limit expires tomorrow: https://bit.ly/3xU0SA2 · As we head into the summer session, students who have a scheduled academic break can continue working unlimited hours. · This fall, we intend to change the number of hours students may work off campus per week to 24 hours.
