A member in good standing with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT) and the Society of Alberta Occupational Therapists (SAOT) and the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists (SSOT), Katie graduated from the University of Alberta in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and graduated from UNBC with a Masters in Disability Management in 2011. She has been practicing occupational therapy for over 20 years, and is registered in good standing with the College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals certified as a Master’s Certificate Vocational Professional (MCVP) in the field of vocational rehabilitation and in 2016, she received a Master’s Certificate in Forensic Vocational Rehabilitation through the University of Florida. She has been a Canadian Certified Life Care Planner (CCLCP) since 2012 through the Commission on Health Care Certification and has been trained in Matheson and Workwell FCE protocols using Matheson equipment for all assessments. In addition, she is a certified EPIC Lift Capacity (ELC) assessor and Certified Work Capacity Evaluator (CWCE).
