Cboe Canada is thrilled to announce that David Lang has joined our board as an independent director.   David’s acclaimed career in governance, risk, and the regulation of the financial services industry spans over 30 years. He is the former Global Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Government Relations at RBC where he held progressively senior executive positions for over 20 years. Leading up to his time at RBC, David was Head of Canadian Capital Markets Compliance at Bank of Montreal.   He began his career as a commercial litigator at Borden Ladner Gervais, then joined the Ontario Securities Commission where he became the Head of Litigation, Enforcement Branch. He has chaired various industry and regulatory committees, and is currently acting as an advisor to RegTech startups, in addition to being an adjudicator at CIRO.   Cboe Canada will greatly benefit from David’s noteworthy skillset and experience in a regulatory environment.
