As Centerra continues to focus on strengthening our operations, we are pleased to welcome Eric Dell to our Senior Leadership team as General Manager, Mount Milligan, effective February 19, 2025. Eric brings over 20 years of experience in open-pit mining operations and has a proven track record in developing and executing strategies to improve productivity in challenging environments. Eric recently served as Senior Vice President, Operations at Copper Mountain Mining Corporation, where he led operations at the Copper Mountain mine and the Eva Copper project. He has also held senior roles at Sherritt International, First Quantum Minerals, Barrick Gold, and Vale Canada. With an MBA, a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Queen’s University, and a Professional Engineer designation, Eric brings a wealth of expertise to his role.    As part of the Mount Milligan team, he will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving performance enhancements, and ensuring the ongoing success of the mine. Centerra was pleased to continue supporting the Queen’s Mining Society and attend the Queen’s Conference on Business and Mining (QCBM), Canada’s premier student-run event focused on the business side of the mining industry. Our COO, Paul Chawrun, shared insights with over 150 students from diverse backgrounds, including Commerce, Geology, and Mine Engineering. A key highlight was the QCBM’s ‘Mining Discipline Night,’ where attendance grew significantly from 100 to 296 students this year.   Our commitment to promoting the young generation to pursue careers in mining extends beyond QCBM.
