The Centre for Urban Research and Land Development is an expert-led research centre dedicated to formulating policies and solutions to address the concerns confronting urban growth and change within Canada's most populous region, the Greater Golden Horseshoe. CUR is also enhance the experiential learning opportunities of our students in order to better prepare them for research and professional practice. Its orientation is founded on uniting economics and market analysis within the context and understanding of social and environmental considerations. It is the only research hub of its kind in Canada with a focus on: •Addressing the research gap around the economic implications of urban and land development policies. •Being a public advocate for policies attuned to efficient development and city growth economics. •Educating students to understand and take leadership roles in these pursuits.
