Over the weekend, our President & CEO Martin Roy, along with our Christie Innomed colleagues Simon Bolduc and Danny Desrosiers, took part in the 2024 Chales Bruneau Cup, an important event that raises funds for research initiatives. We are truly inspired and humbled by the dedication of all those who participated and raised together $1.2 million. These funds will have a real impact, advancing research that brings hope to children and families affected by cancer. Pediatric cancer touches so many lives, and the fight against it is a cause close to all of our hearts. Together, we are making a difference, step by step, to create a brighter future for every child battling this disease. Au cours de la fin de semaine, notre Président et Chef de la direction, Martin Roy, ainsi que nos collègues de Christie Innomed, Simon Bolduc et Danny Desrosiers, ont participé à la Coupe Chales Bruneau 2024, un événement important qui permet d'amasser des fonds pour des initiatives de recherche. Nous sommes vraiment inspirés par le dévouement de tous ceux et celles qui ont participé et qui ont recueilli ensemble 1,2 million de dollars. Ces fonds auront un impact réel, en faisant avancer la recherche qui apporte de l'espoir aux enfants et aux familles touchés par le cancer. Le cancer pédiatrique touche tant de vies, et la lutte contre cette maladie est une cause qui nous tient tous à cœur. « Est-ce que le lit est prêt ? » C’est une question très commune pour le personnel des urgences au Québec qui doivent régulièrement planifier l’accès à une chambre pour une hospitalisation mais pas dans la région de Charlevoix du CIUSSS de la Capitale-Nationale. En effet, les autorités du CIUSSS ont compris l’incidence positive du logiciel Stat-Gestion de lits sur la fluidité hospitalière et y ont intégré les activités du personnel du service d’hygiène-salubrité afin d’offrir une perspective de temps-réel sur la disponibilité des lits. En résulte un important gain de temps et d’efficience pour le personnel des urgences des hôpitaux de Baie st-Paul et La Malbaie tout en accélérant l’attribution d’un lit à leurs patients sur civière.
