October 6 to 12 is Fire Prevention Week and the Kelowna Fire Department is kicking things off with an Open House on Sunday October 6th that includes a pancake breakfast (by donation), the chance to meet our amazing first responders, safety equipment displays from emergency responders across the City and loads of family and kid friendly activities!. The Central Okanagan Economic Development Commission has launched its Business and Workforce survey and is looking for feedback to inform the COEDC Strategy 2025 to 2030! The business survey seeks to uncover insights into business experiences, sentiments, and perceptions, while the workforce survey will offer insights on workforce characteristics, opportunities, and challenges in the region.
