🏆 Proud to reflect on AGAPYO'S achievement in winning the 2024 Climate Solutions Prize Start-Up Track in the Pre-Commercialization phase. agapyo secured $150,000 in equity investment from Cycle Momentum and matching funds from BDC's Thrive Lab for Women for a total of $300,000. Their innovative product, Jam, a fully compostable and 100% plant-based alternative to traditional plastics, is paving the way for more sustainable materials in industries such as cosmetics packaging and computer peripherals. With a $100,000 prize, their revolutionary research, led by Professor Jean-Philippe Charron and PhD student Michael Di Mare from Polytechnique Montréal, is set to transform the construction industry.
