Make your service a ✨WOW✨ 1. Actively listen and ask pertinent questions 👂🏻 Before every treatment ask your client how they’re feeling and what they’d like to focus on today. Actively listen to what they say without planning your response. 2. Focus on clients preferences 👍 Massage therapy is all about customer service. It’s your job to learn what the needs and preferences of the clients are. 3. Respect boundaries 🚫 This ensures safety and trust for both parties. Establish and respect physical, personal and professional boundaries. 4. Give homework and self-care tips ✅ If you relieve pain or tension, instruct them on how to help maintain that feeling of well-being, improve their situation, or prevent the pain/tension from coming back. 5. Tell them when to schedule their next appointment 📆 Don’t let clients leave without telling them when they should come back. That’s key to getting clients to rebook and ensuring they meet their wellness goals. 6. Follow up after an appointment 📲 At a minimum, therapists should follow up with new clients, as well as return clients with new issues or goals. Following up shows that you care. 👇Consider these elements for a great cancellation policy: 1: Keep it short, simple & easy to understand ✅ We’ve all seen those terms & conditions that are pages and pages long…that no one reads. 2: Inform them of the policy at the time of booking 🧑💻 A great way to ensure your customers are aware of your cancellation policy is by having them sign the form, adding a disclaimer to your booking process, or having them check a cancellation policy check box. 3: Get a signed agreement with the client ✍️ Any time a new client books an appointment have them sign and date your cancellation policy.
