Wednesday night was a wonderful evening! We got to celebrate with the CMDC (Canadian Media Director's Council) the new generation of inspiring contributors from our industry with the YA Future Impact Awards! We were lucky enough to see our very own Aishani Roy, shortlist for the Mentor of the year award!!! Congrats Aishani, you are a wonderful leader and a great mentor to your team, I cannot wait to continue to see you grow! 👏👏 A big shout out to Meredith Menkes for winning Media Leader of the year and Kaity Wong for winning Advocate of the year!!

Grateful and deeply honoured to receive the CMDC (Canadian Media Director's Council) award for Notable Newcomer of the Year! This recognition wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of my strongest pillars— Robbie, Lorena, Nevena, and Faraz. You’ve all been instrumental in my first year in media, guiding me, challenging me, and helping me become media-ready. This win is OUR WIN. Truly, the dream team! Attending the CMDC (Canadian Media Director's Council) Young Achievers Future Impact Awards for the first time was nothing short of inspiring. The advertising industry has always been home to creative, bold, and visionary minds, but this event shines a spotlight on the next generation rising through the ranks. Seeing the semi-finalists and winners take center stage—achieving so much in just five years or less—is a testament to their talent and dedication. They should be incredibly proud! It was an honour to represent PATTISON Outdoor and present the Collaborator of the Year award. And of course, congratulations to Shannon Lewis and her team at the CMDC for this great event. I had the incredible opportunity of being nominated as a CMDC (Canadian Media Director's Council) YA - thanks to Jennifer Lewis and Lynn Mayer for trusting and nominating me to be an ambassador for dentsu Under the impressive leadership of Shannon Lewis , we put our best foot forward in preparing for the #CMDCYAAwards and it was magical to watch it all come to life last night. The support from my fellow YAs was inspiring and it truly showcased that We Are Better Together! Thank you Mallory, Teryn, Dominic, Mikayla, Devanshi, Daniel Kateryna, Emily, Chicira, Riddhi, and Natalie. Y’all are amazing and your camaraderie made this a memorable experience. And the cherry on top? Celebrating Steffi Dsouza who took home the award for Media Buyer of the Year and Robert Marchese winning the Mentor of the Year award. Special shoutout to my managers and mentors Lily, Polimarcos , and Araceli. My achievements in media are a result of your unwavering support and mentorship. Thank you to my former manager Xenia Alphonso for helping me build a strong foundation at the very nascent stages of my career and enabling me to grow into a well-rounded professional.
