The initial review of the standard is receiving lots of good feedback. This is going to be a great document to help people and projects with commissioning. #commissioning

How do you want your final walkthrough with project stakeholders to be at the end of projects? It's a choice you make right at the beginning, if you're going to take commissioning seriously or not on your projects. If you want to delight your stakeholders with defect-free systems, where you can point out all the new/shiny systems on the final walkthrough, that they can operate efficiently and reliably for decades, then you'll implement robust commissioning processes right from the start of your project. But if instead, your intention is to have an embarrassing final walkthrough, where your stakeholders point out everything wrong, things your team missed, and the additional work operators have to do to make up for the project short-comings, then you'll ignore commissioning until the end of the project and scramble to get it done. Maybe you'll skip the final walkthrough - send someone else from your team to take the brunt of complaints. Word gets around pretty quickly on how you deliver in the end.
